K’MANA, a black girl from Vallejo CA, whose inspiration comes from the 70’s – 80’s era, where everything was LOVE! The now CEO of iloveme BOUTIQUE spent most of her time day dreaming of groovy music, soul train lines, afros, and platforms. Visions of making it BIG like Donna Summers only to give her family an amazing life raced her mind; to shower her family with more than they’ve ever imagined.

From the outside looking in, everything she needed to succeed was there; the personality, the brains, the beauty, the heart, and the hunger. The CEO share’s, “What I didn’t have that I tried my very best to hide from everyone, was the confidence in myself. I didn’t think I was pretty. If I could change my complexion I would’ve, down to my height, the size of my lips, you name it.”

After some time to self reflect it clicked! Those negative thoughts were a lie that she was battling daily, when deep down she felt she knew the truth; self love is a practice that only we have the power to influence. K’mana realized, “society and social media didn’t highlight young black girls that looked liked me & if I felt this way, how many other girls felt this way too?”.  She was determined to not only build self love and confidence within herself but help other girls find their love for self too. In 2020 iloveme SOCIETY was born! A platform offered to women of color in every shade, from any background to grow, heal, and invest in themselves.
